We are seeking a highly organized and client-focused Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for project managing both branding and custom UX design projects from inception to completion. You will own the client experience, ensuring effective communication, timely updates, and a seamless execution throughout. The Account Manager will be the project owner within our project management and accounting systems. This position is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Client Communication and Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, leading client calls and providing regular project status updates.
- Ensure a superior client experience through effective communication and project oversight.
- Project Management and Execution:
- Develop project timelines, identifying project tasks and key milestones. Work closely with other Account and Project Managers to coordinate team member resourcing.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Coordinate project setup in our project management and accounting systems, ensuring accurate time tracking and budget management.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and keep all stakeholders informed of project status, deliverable progress and budget tracking.
- Ad Hoc Creative Request Management:
- Oversee the inbound receipt of ad hoc design requests, ensuring accurate file types and content submissions.
- Assign design work to team members based on workload and resource availability.
- Move and maintain active design requests within our project management system.
- Audit and relay billing information to the relevant parties for end-of-month record-keeping.
- Financial Oversight:
- Oversee the project team tasks and ensure accurate time tracking within our accounting systems.
- Assist the finance department by managing account receivables for the projects they oversee and ensuring timely payment from clients.
- Proven experience in an Account Manager or similar role within a creative agency or related environment.
- Strong understanding of branding, UX design, and project management principles.
- Proficiency in accounting and project management software.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
