Job Description

We are looking for a forward-thinking Marketing Manager to join our fast-paced and highly innovative team. You will work with an array of technologies and platforms to promote the Poetic brand and drive future growth. You will be challenged every day.

You are an organized, multi-tasker who will work with a team of content writers, designers, and social media experts. Identifying potential quality issues excites you as much as a development and implementation of a strategic plan to resolve them. You are keenly aware of where the industry is going and are in a never-ending pursuit to test new strategies.

You will work closely with the Sales team to ensure bottom-line results from all of the marketing efforts and you will effectively and efficiently manage agencies to deliver a unified voice.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the Poetic brand message is strong and consistent
  • Maintain and optimize communication channels including website, social media, white papers, etc.
  • Track and report key program metrics, specifically new lead generation and nurturing
  • Manages direct reports, vendors and agency relationships
  • Provide project management support for all marketing initiatives
  • Work with the sales and project management team to deliver proposals and other sales support materials
  • Identify and optimize new marketing activities to drive revenue and efficiencies
  • Remain aware of initiatives across Poetic and industry trends that can be turned into outward-facing content supporting Poetic as a thought leader
  • Create and maintain a content calendar to integrate internal efforts and external agency efforts

  • Experience managing and mentoring a marketing team
  • Experience running successful digital marketing campaigns
  • Solid knowledge of web, social, and advertising platforms ( Google Analytics/Adwords, Facebook, Instagram, etc. )
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of an organization
  • Experience with a services organization (agency or consulting preferred)
  • A continual thirst for knowledge and desire for self-improvement
  • Ability to prioritize and switch gears when necessary
  • You take initiative and champion projects and causes
